Who's in the Room
Mohit Bedi

Mohit Bedi

Built Kiwi's sponsor bank network. Angel investor, early-stage fintech. Talking about building in regulated India.

Mohit co-founded Kiwi in 2022 with Anup Agrawal and Siddharth Mehta, and helped put one of the first real credit-on-UPI products in the hands of Indian consumers, back when the category barely existed. Today, Kiwi has issued 200,000+ virtual RuPay credit cards in partnership with AU Small Finance Bank, Yes Bank, Axis Bank, and Punjab National Bank, and moves 5M+ transactions a month across 600 cities. The company has raised $43M, most recently a $24M Series B at a reported $100M valuation, backed by Vertex Ventures SEA & India, Nexus, Stellaris, and Omidyar Network.

The quiet part: none of that happens without someone who understands how to talk to a sponsor bank, a network, a regulator, and a young Indian consumer, often in the same week. That has been Mohit's work. Before Kiwi, he ran acquiring and commercial cards at Axis Bank as SVP, led credit cards at Standard Chartered and Barclays, and was a senior operator at PayU. Twenty years of building the rails other people end up riding on.

He now serves as an advisor to Kiwi, and is focused on advisory and early-stage investing in fintech.

Chintan Thakkar

Chintan Thakkar

Builds, breaks, builds again — for as long as he can remember. Under the hood of OpenClaw: multi-agent AI, agentic, live.

Most CTOs learned on a compiler. Chintan learned on every stack he could break for parts — and never picked a favourite. Twenty years of breaking, building, and staying stack-agnostic. Reads the release notes on Friday, ships the weekend, and treats every new framework as a thing to audit, not a thing to adopt.

Technically sound, hands-on, AI-forward — the rare CTO who actually writes the code he is specifying. He has watched every abstraction come and go, and picks tools for the problem, not the fashion.

At Chapter 2 he is doing the under-the-hood: an advanced multi-agent setup, live and step by step. Orchestration, failure modes, the prompts he kept, the prompts he threw out. If you have read about agentic architectures but have not seen one in the wild — this is that session.

Amit Tambe

Amit Tambe

Twenty-plus years at Trilegal — M&A, PE, competition. Now angel investor and advisor across fintech, consumer, and regulated builders.

Amit spent over twenty years at Trilegal, one of India's top corporate law firms, where he was an equity partner in the Mumbai corporate practice and went on to head the firm's competition law practice. He worked on the kind of transactions founders in this room will one day find themselves on the other side of — M&A, private equity, joint ventures, regulatory clearances. The deals where getting the paper right is the difference between a clean cap table and a five-year headache.

He was one of the earliest backers of Capzest, a Mumbai fintech, back in 2016, and has since invested in and advised companies across fintech, consumer, and enterprise. He sits on advisory boards, stays close to the builder community, and has a real soft spot for tech. For founders shipping in medtech, banking, payments, or anything that smells of regulation, he is the kind of person you want in your corner before, not after, the problem shows up.

Today, Amit works with founders and funds as an advisor and early-stage investor.
